BATTLE HYMN OF THE REPUBLIC

I’ve been occupied with a number of things, missing my 1/6 intended blog post. I thought I would insert one in it’s place today.

On inauguration day 2020 we listened to THE BATTLE HYMN OF THE REPUBLIC a number of times. I just KNEW that the stolen election would not be allowed to stand. I was waiting for the knight on the white horse to ride up ANY MINUTE and take charge of the situation. I had no idea that it would be 4 years of behind-the-scenes work, instead.

Yesterday I saw a print out posted online of the Inauguration Program showing that THE BATTLE HYMN OF THE REPUBLIC will be played right after CIC DJT’s oath of office. I have been ‘emotional’ from time to time… mostly ‘overwhelmed’ by various news over the last 4+ YEARS, but somehow this information hit me like nothing else has in the last 4 years. i think it is a combination of joy and relief and sort of a hug from God (for me personally)… since that song is so powerful and means so much (to me), especially considering these last years of my confusion, wonder, discouragement yet hope.

I AM SO SO EXCITED ABOUT the 20th… and that this song is being included… and where it falls in the program. I know it is a small thing, overall, but for me, it is just beyond perfect.

Let the ‘Golden Age of America’ begin… and what an EXTREME contrast that will be to the years we have been experiencing, honestly, since COVID… and honestly probably many years, possibly decades.
