TERMS & CONDITIONS help ecommerce businesses establish trust & transparency with customers. This type of agreement intends to properly set expectations. As we all know, online shopping has the potential to be risky, especially for a first-time shopper visiting a new online store. I have always prided myself in high-level customer service & honesty. I attend to apply those values here as well.
Now, on to all these many words…
As an artist, I have been guilty of saying “I’m not a mathematician, I’m an artist”, in response to math type questions. The same could apply here, “I’m not a lawyer, I’m an artist”. Note, I’m also not a writer, though I do try. However, I will do my best to provide some basic information below, much of it brought over from the POD vendor, in hopes it can provide a sense of understanding on the processes of production, along with other information on shipping, deliveries, returns, refunds and any other potential question you might have. What is Print On Demand?
Print-on-demand (POD for short) is an order fulfillment method. I have created the designs for these products & the POD partner company prints & ships the goods directly to you on my behalf. POD services fulfill a product only once an order has been placed.

When will I get my order?
Fulfillment:
Usually, it takes 3-7 business days to fulfill an order, after which it’s shipped out.
Shipping:
The shipping time depends on your location, but can be estimated as follows:
3-4 business days (Continental USA only, at the moment)
Right now, the only shipping option available from the POD vendor is standard shipping, as shown above. No rush shipping options are available at this time.
How do I track my order?

If you feel your order should be to you, but still don’t have it:
Before getting in touch, please help out by doing the following:
• Review expected fulfillment and shipping times as listed above
• Check your shipping confirmation email for any mistakes in the delivery address
• Ask your local post office if they have your package
• Stop by your neighbors in case the courier left the package with them
Lost in Transit:
All of the items shipped from the POD vendor have tracking, although accuracy may differ for some of their carriers. If an item is past the estimated delivery date & you have still not received your order, a package could be lost in transit. It is important to let me know within the first 30 days after the product’s anticipated delivery date about any possible lost-in-transit issue. One thing to check on your end prior to submitting a lost-in-transit concern, is to double check the shipping address you used for the order.
If the address was incorrect then the package will be sent back to the return address of the POD vendor & I will then be contacted by them with a request for an updated address. The reshipment of the item(s) would require your covering those subsequent shipping costs.
If the address was correct consider getting in touch with your local post office to see if the order is there. You could also check in with neighbors to see if they have seen your package. Be assured, that if your address was correct and the order still does not arrive, we can submit a ‘problem report’ and the POD’s customer support team will find a resolution, typically covering the costs of printing and shipping of the replacement order. Unclaimed shipments:
Shipments that go unclaimed are returned to the POD facility. If failure to claim the shipment, the items(s) will be donated to charity without issuing a refund.
Marked as delivered but not yet received:
If a shipment's tracking states that it was delivered, the POD vendor / I will not responsible for covering any costs of reshipping or refunding the order. Note that sometimes packages can be left in an unexpected location at your location, so that is also worth checking up on. Contact the carrier and check to see if the delivery person left any additional details as to where the package might be.
Damaged or Mislabeled Items:
If a damaged or mislabeled item was accidentally let through the POD vendor’s quality control, or was damaged during shipment, the POD vendor takes full responsibility to provide a replacement. The POD vendor will review any concern we have upon your sharing with me a detailed description of a problem along with (quality) photos where the issue can be clearly seen. Upon receipt of those, I can then file a ‘problem report’ with the POD vendor. NOTE: the time frame on this applies only within the first 30 days after the product has been received, per their terms. Upon review by the POD vendor, we can figure out a solution.
What is the Return Policy?
Returns & exchanges are not offered unless an item is damaged, mislabeled or the incorrect item was sent. If there is something wrong with your order, please let me know at thedashmatters@icloud.com
Before returning any items, please contact me at thedashmatters@icloud.com. At that time I can confirm/explain Return Policies and Procedures, if needed. I can also provide you the correct return address, as there are a variety of addresses for returns, based on your location.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are only offered to customers that receive the wrong items, damaged items or mislabeled items. Please contact me at thedashmatters@icloud.com with photos of the wrong/damaged/mislabeled item along with any helpful communication & I will share that with the POD vendor. From there we will sort that out for you.
Can I exchange an item for a different size/color?
If you’re unsure which size would fit better, please check out the detailed sizing information provided within each listing before ordering. Though it is rare, it’s possible that an item ordered was mislabelled. If that is the case, please let me know at thedashmatters@icloud.com within a week after receiving your order. This is the timeframe that the POD vendor allows for reporting it. Please include your order number and photos of the mislabeled item. To confirm a mislabel, please take your photo(s) with a ruler showing measurements horizontally and vertically to confirm. I will then sort that out with the POD vendor for resolution.
Buyer’s Remorse:
Though I would hope this would not ever be the case, as all products are clearly shown & described here, refunds will not be offered for ‘buyer’s remorse’.
Sizing:
Wrongly ordered sizes are not eligible for refunds, as it would require producing an entirely new product. I have included detailed sizing information within each product listing to help you determine best size prior to ordering.
Where will my order ship from?
The POD vendor works with an on-demand fulfillment company with facilities worldwide. Depending on where you are, your orders are printed and shipped from the POD facility that can do it most efficiently.
PRIVACY
This store is currently 100% fulfilled by a POD partner company who prints & ships the goods directly to you on my behalf. All payments are processed through a 3rd party payment provider linked to my website store. Data provided here will be passed to the respective third party payment provider, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and your billing information. Information shared with a payment provider to process payments typically includes Name, email, Address, Phone, City/State/Zip, Unique payment identifier, and Payment provider identifier. On my end I will be able to see Customer name, email address and physical address. And please be assured that I will never share any of your information. The POD partner company does not have access to any of your information other than the shipping address for the order.
At this time, one of my goals is to keep this website as straightforward & uncomplicated as possible, both for you and for me. At some point I may add additional stuff like discount codes, email promotions & the like, but for now, this will operate in a pretty basic & organic way. Also worth mentioning, I plan to keep ALL items here on SALE / marked down through 2024 (… and turns out ‘and beyond’, so please continue to enjoy the sale prices for now).
